It's history in the making. Martock is getting some name stones at the entrances to the village.

The following are a selection of images from Castle Reclamation who have supplied the Martock Stones.

One end of the stones has been cut to allow them to stand upright and the next process will be to carve the village name “MARTOCK”

Some of the children from Martock school visited today as they are going to be involved in burying a time capsule beneath one of the stones.

The last stone has now been finished and we will be fitting early March.

Anyone who wishes to visit the  Castle Reclamation yard to see the progress will be most welcome during the opening hours of 8.30 – 5.00 week days and 10.00 – 1.00 on Saturdays.
